Healthy Lifestyle Week - W/C 21st May 2018
This week has been a whole school Healthy Lifestyle Week. The children have taken part in lots of healthy activities. The main focus was for the children to understand the importance of being healthy and how they can link this to their own life.
We have made....
YR- fruit salads
Y1 - fruit shapes
Y2 - smoothies
Y3 - fruit pizzas
Y4 - fruit kebabs
Y5 - hummus
Y6 - fruit sushi
The children also took part in a yoga workshop. They learnt different stretches and techniques. The children followed a different story in order to complete the different moves.
On Friday the children took part in different mindfulness activities.
