[toggle title=”St Mary’s PTA”]St Mary’s PTA are fortunate to have an enthusiastic Committee working hard on behalf of the School. We raise funds to support ongoing commitments to the School such as the swimming pool and computer suite, and provide extra facilities and resources for the children. The Committee is supported by a number of parents who volunteer their time to help out at events, plus by the Class Rep’s who help us communicate messages, sell advance tickets, and help organise volunteer rota’s for some of our larger events.
We aim to have fun as well as enabling staff and parents to get to know each other better and so building a close school community. The PTA provides refreshments at many events in the School calendar. An AGM is held, usually around January time, at which the annual accounts are presented along with a review of the fundraising year. It also offers a chance for parents to meet the Governors.
More information about the PTA, the activities we organise, how much money we have raised and what we have spent it on can be found at www.stmaryspta.com.
You will also hear from us in the school newsletter and via Parentmail.
If you would like to find out how to join the PTA Committee, how to volunteer as an occasional helper, or if you simply have a question, please contact us email@example.com
