National Sports Week
Body Coach Fitness
At St Mary's we took part in Joe Wicks back to school fitness week. We completed the 20 minute workouts.
National Fitness Day
National Fitness Day was a chance to highlight the role physical activity plays across the UK, helping us raise awareness of its importance in helping us lead healthier and active lifestyles.
The children took part in a range of different sporting activities during the day.
‘Sport Relief’ Week. In order to raise awareness of the importance of sport and exercise we had a sports clothes mufti day on Friday, 23rd March.
Children were invited to wear their own sporting clothes in exchange for a £1 donation towards this worthy cause. (This idea was also thought of by Mia and Noah in Year Six). The children took part in a range of sporting activities during the day.
The money we raised will be used to tackle critical issues affecting people across the UK and the world.
The Sports Council helped to raise awareness in assembly.
