In our outdoor learning, we have been busy planting tomato seeds. The children carefully prepared the soil and planted their seeds, which we will nurture over the coming weeks. These will eventually be moved into our “secret garden,” where we look forward to watching them grow and develop.

In maths, we have started our new topic on multiplication. The children have been exploring what multiplication means and beginning to use practical resources to help them understand groups and repeated addition. We will continue to build on this understanding in the coming weeks.

The children have also spent lots of time working creatively on their train designs as part of our railway project. They have shown fantastic imagination and attention to detail while decorating their trains. We will be selecting some of the best designs, and those children will go to the Railway Project Celebration Event next Friday to represent the class and share their work.
