19th June

What an incredible week Year 6 have had on their residential at Aylmerton!
The children have represented St Mary's brilliantly throughout the week and should be extremely proud of themselves. From exploring rock pools and studying coastal habitats to team-building challenges, nature activities, bowling and plenty of outdoor adventures, they have embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm, resilience and positivity.
We have been particularly impressed by the way the children have supported one another, shown independence, stepped outside their comfort zones and demonstrated our school values in everything they have done. Their behaviour has been exceptional, and they have been a real credit to themselves, their families and our school.
The staff would like to thank Year 6 for making the residential such a memorable experience. We have loved sharing this special week with them and watching their confidence grow each day.
