Welcome back to a new school year! 

It has been an absolute pleasure these 3 days getting to know Year 5 and we have started the year enthusiastic, energetic and ready to shine our lights in all aspects of school life. The children have voted for their council representatives, taken part in house activities and already begun to start on our English lessons with our WOW starter. We have even named our class mascot 'Jeff' who is ready to accompany children every week on their weekend adventures.

HOME LEARNING: 

The children have been sent home with reading records and will begin taking home books next week. Please begin to fill in as you read with your children every day. In addition, please make sure that the children finish any incomplete Doodle Learning baselines independently so that they can be supported in class with any concepts they do not understand.
