Friday 18th September 2026

Thank you to all those who attended our Meet the Teacher session. It was lovely to meet you!
It has been another engaging week of learning. We have introduced our Changemaker Project and enjoyed our Mini Police session!
English: We begun to explore some of the features of our writing toolkit, including fronted adverbials and personification, through some short-burst writing activities.
Maths: We are continuing with our place value unit, looking at partitioning and placing numbers on a number line up to 1 million.
Science: We explored air resistance and conducted an experiment to investigate whether the size of a parachute affects the speed at which it falls.
History: We explored the causes and consequences of the Romans leaving Britain and the Anglo-Saxons invading.
Music: We identified character and action songs and understood the role they play in musical theatre.

READING: Please read at least 5 times a week, including reading to an adult.
