14th November

It was wonderful to see everyone’s odd socks for Anti-Bullying Week. its a great reminder that it’s okay to be different and that we all play a part in spreading kindness.

In English, we have been describing dragons for our non-chronological reports, making sure to join our ideas using and. The children have come up with some brilliant, imaginative details.

In Maths, we started looking at number bonds to 10 and practised making number sentences. The class has been working hard to spot patterns and use different strategies.

In Science, we explored the different groups of animals, including mammals, fish, and reptiles. The children really enjoyed sorting and discussing what makes each group unique.

In Geography, we created maps of our classroom to help us understand map symbols. Everyone loved turning familiar spaces into mini map masterpieces.

In PSHE, we talked about the difference between bullying and teasing, thinking carefully about how our words and actions affect others.

To top it all off, we had a fantastic day at Bekonscot Model Village! The children were thrilled to spot all the hidden elves - and, of course, the memorable man on the toilet!
