We want our children to enjoy a wonderful summer break while also keeping their minds active. Research shows that children can lose around one month of learning over the holidays without regular practice. Our optional Summer Home Learning activities are designed to be fun and easy to fit around family life.

As the children prepare for the exciting transition into Year 6, we want them to be ready to hit the ground running from day one. Little and often really does make a difference, so regular reading, some writing and keeping up with Doodle will put them in the best possible position for September. For those children preparing for the 11+, there will also be plenty of practice available through Atom Learning over the summer.

We have also included our Summer Bingo challenge, packed with activities that encourage curiosity, creativity and independence, helping children continue to explore and learn through real-life experiences. We hope the children enjoy completing as many as they can!
