What a great first full week in Year 5. In our English lessons, we have been looking at our model text for character descriptions. Using pictorial representations, we have explored the narrative and tried to learn it off by heart. Place value has been the topic this week in Maths and we have learned to read and write numbers up to 1 million.

Here is what we have got up to in some of our other subjects!

SCIENCE: We have conducted an experiment where we tested if objects with different mass fall at different speeds.

MUSIC: We listening to different musicals songs throughout history and learned the features.

RE: We studied different texts from the Bible and considered what God is like and what he does to understand why he might be holy and loving. 

HOME LEARNING: 

READING: X5 times a week minimum including reading to an adult.

MATHS & ENGLISH: Being 'in the green' on Doodle.

SPELLING: Please complete the spelling assignment on Doodle.
