We want our children to enjoy a wonderful summer break while also keeping their minds active. Research shows that children can lose around one month of learning over the holidays without regular practice. Our optional Summer Home Learning activities are designed to be fun and easy to fit around family life.

As the children prepare for their transition into Year 3 and the exciting move into Key Stage 2, we want them to return in September feeling confident and ready for this important next step. Little and often really does make a difference, so regular reading, a little writing and keeping up with Doodle will help them retain the fantastic progress they have made in Key Stage 1 and give them the best possible start to Year 3.

We have also included our Summer Bingo challenge, packed with activities that encourage curiosity, creativity and independence, helping children continue to explore and learn through real-life experiences. We hope the children enjoy completing as many of the challenges as they can!
