On Tuesday night, the school choir took part in the Young Voices Concert at London’s O2. Our experience there was amazing. We saw the dance crew, Urban Strides, and our principal conductor David Lawrence. We also saw a variety of singers such as Natalie Williams and Alfie Sheard. We also sang many songs such as: Africa, Why Sing and Singing Together. It was quite a long day, but it was a really fun night. Thank you to Miss Paxton, Mrs Allen and Mrs Willetts for taking us.

Well done to all the children and staff who raised a grand total of £237.35 today! We are sponsoring a child's education in the Gambia and this will pay for a whole year of schooling. I am delighted to announce that  our sponsored child is a young girl called Fatou. Children have been given information about her and we will be writing to her shortly to introduce ourselves. We aim to sponsor her throughout her school life and have set up a section on the Community tab entitled Action Aid where you will be able to find out more about her in due course.
