Testimonials

PARENTS

Mrs G - 'Thank you for making A's transition to Reception as great an experience as it can be!'

Mrs C - 'Lovely grounds and facilities.  Good emphasis on learning and progress.  Fabulous pastoral support.  The children are all taught to be kind to each other and behaviour and discipline is really good.

Mrs D - 'They are amazing with all the children.  My son just started in Reception and already loves it.'

Ms M - 'All three of my children are....thriving.  Lovely school.  Great grounds.  A real community feel to it.'

Mrs MC - 'My daughter feels cherished and safe there and I know she is in amazing hands and to add, though it is a C of E School, it is very welcoming to all faith and non faith families so is lovely and diverse.'

GRANDPARENTS

Mrs E - ' I am writing to say a huge 'thank you' to you and your staff for allowing our two little granddaughters to attend your wonderful school.  We had them to stay with us at Half Term and we were so impressed at their progress in just half a term.'

PUPILS

It’s easy to make friends and it’s fun.

It’s friendly and caring, all the children and staff make you smile.

You are able to learn at your own pace and you always have someone to go to who will listen.

You get to know everyone and everyone makes you feel welcomed.

It's nice because Y6 helps us.

I like sports because we have nice coaches Jack and Daryl.

We go swimming at Merchant Taylors and I really like the lunch we have there.

We went to the Council chamber and held a debate there, it's great because we learn about different points of view.

We make choices with our behaviour- we know that if we make the wrong choice there are consequences.

We put forward our ideas to Mrs Edwards and she listens to us.

My work is challenging but it makes me think and my teacher is there to support and challenge me.

LOCAL COMMUNITY

'A nice cup of tea afterwards (Harvest Festival) was very welcome too with a chat to you all'. Mr & Mrs C
