' I am so impressed with what you are doing... hearing it from good friends who have children with you. Your commitment is amazing and calling them all over lockdown too.' Ms S

'St Mary's really has been ahead in terms of care, communication and learning videos'. Mrs A

'I can't see how it could be better, so well done guys!' Mrs N

'Many thanks- your set up and information has been amazing!' Mrs H

' I just want to say what an amazing effort- above and beyond! The whole school staff have been incredible at this time and a credit to the profession'. Mr H

' I just wanted to say a big thank you to you all for helping to keep everyone's spirits up. Mrs Edwards' email on Monday actually brought tears to my eyes, it was lovely and made both (my children) smile. Mrs Foster's daily riddles are getting everyone thinking...' Mrs M

'I would like to pass on my heartfelt thanks.. for your exemplary handling of this entire situation. It is a credit to you all that the children are remaining calm and prepared mentally and academically for the next few weeks. It is no mean feat to have sent home work for the next two weeks to an entire school population'. Mrs T

'We were very touched by the way your thought process about the return to school has  (name) best interests at heart. It really did mean a lot.' Mrs B

It’s easy to make friends and it’s fun.

It’s friendly and caring, all the children and staff make you smile.

You are able to learn at your own pace and you always have someone to go to who will listen.

You get to know everyone and everyone makes you feel welcomed.

It's nice because Y6 helps us.

I like sports because we have nice coaches Jack and Daryl.

We go swimming at Merchant Taylors and I really like the lunch we have there.

We went to the Council chamber and held a debate there, it's great because we learn about different points of view.

We make choices with our behaviour- we know that if we make the wrong choice there are consequences.

We put forward our ideas to Mrs Edwards and she listens to us.

My work is challenging but it makes me think and my teacher is there to support and challenge me.

'The frequent communication and strong leadership has reassured us of having selected the perfect school for our daughter'. Mrs B

'(My children) have been there for two years now. It's the best decision we made!! Mrs Q

'My son has been at St Mary's school from nursery through to Year 6 this year and it has been a very good experience for us. The teachers and staff  are amazing and I would highly recommend the school to anyone thinking of sending their children there.' Mrs T

'(Calling all parents)... what a lovely thing to do. Without sounding patronising I wanted to acknowledge that as it's above and beyond and in my view that's what makes you outstanding..' Mr T

'It's a lovely thing for a single parent like me to feel like I'm part of a community like the one that is so strong at St Mary's'. Mrs L

'I just wanted to thank you, the pupils, staff and governors for inviting me to the Christmas lunch. It was such a lovely occasion followed by the children singing Carols'. Mrs B

'We were made so welcome by both staff and  children... the children looked after me so well, it gives one hope for the future'. Mrs L

'A nice cup of tea afterwards (Harvest Festival) was very welcome too with a chat to you all'. Mr & Mrs C

'Thank you for all your help in getting our housing problem sorted! If it hadn't been for your help we would not be looking forward to our new home'. Mrs T
